2023: Confusion over Osinbajo’s Presidential declaration Thursday
A source closed to the camp of the Vice-President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, has said that contrary to reports flying across the media, the former RCCG Pastor will not be declaring his presidential ambition on Thursday.
Reports had emerged on the social media on Tuesday, saying that the VP will formally announce his intention to join the presidential race on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, on Thursday.
But some section of the media has reported that the source, which they claims is Osibajo’s associate, has refuted the ongoing rumour, saying the VP would not be making any presidential declaration on the said day.
The source was quoted to have said the “VP will not be declaring on Thursday.”
But despite what has been seen to be complete silence from the VP office concerning his presidential ambition in recent times, many of his staunch supporters have continued to flood the social media and several streets in Abuja with his 2023 Presidential campaign posters.
