All hell broke loose as Soldiers clash with Policemen

Personnel of the Nigerian Army and that of Nigeria Police Force clashed in Zaria over a judgement passed by a Mobile Court sitting at Agoro in Zaria local government area of Kaduna state, against a soldier for violating the states’ lockdown order on Monday.

The soldier was fined N10,000 by a mobile court enforcing the COVID-19 lockdown.

According to eye witness report, the commotion started when a Policeman allegedly slapped the Army Officer following his explanation on
why he was fined.

“Fight broke out immediately”, said the eye witness

When contacted, the Assistant Director Army Public Relations, Captain Audu Arigu, said the “matter was settled.”
