Alleged supplier of ammunitions to armed robbers, cult groups aprehended by Police
A 37-year-old suspected dealer of ammunitions, Chinedu Enenmo and his 34-year-old accomplice, Donatus Ndukan, have been arrested by operatives of the Delta State Police Command.
The suspects, before being apprehended by the Police Decoy Squad led by ASP Julius Robinson, had allegedly been supplying cartridges to suspected armed robbers, kidnappers, and cultists.
It was gathered that the Police recovered two hundred and fifty (250) rounds of live cartridges from him.
Disclosing this in a statement, the Police Public Relations Officer of the state, DSP Bright Edafe said, “During the course of investigations, the suspect gave useful information about his accomplice and led the operatives to the Fegge area of Onitsha in Anambra State where one Donatus Ndukan ‘m’ 34yrs of Urom community in Awka-North LGA of Anambra State whom he described as his boss in the business was also arrested.”
According to DSP Edafe, “Both suspects are in custody and the investigation is ongoing”.
