BREAKING; 288 new COVID-19 cases recorded across 15 States in Nigeria

Two hundred and eighty eight (288) confirmed new coronavirus cases have been recorded in Nigeria across fifteen States of the country.

This waa disclosed by the Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC) in its daily COVID-19 update via its official Twitter handle Monday evening.

The release stated that Lagos State recorded 88 new cases of coronavirus. Followed by Kwara State with 33 new casesand Osun State with 27 new cases.

Plateau, Rivers, and Delta States recorded 13, 13, and 10 cases of coronavirus infections respectively while Gomne, Ogun, Oyo, Katsina and Bauchi are States withless than 10 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24hrs.

A closer analysis of the report by NCDC shows that total confirmed cases of coronavirus infections in Nigeria is now
44,129. Out of these cases 20,663 patients have been treated and discharged, 896 patients have sadly dies.
