BREAKING; 624 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Nigeria

Six hundred and twenty four (624) new cases of coronavirus infections have been recorded in Nigeria.

This was announced by the Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC) in its COVID-19 daily update Tuesday evening via its official Twitter account.

The Centre disclosed that Lagos State recorded 212 new cases of coronavirus infections. Followed by Oyo State with 69 new cases of infections, while Niger State recorded 49 new cases.

Katsina, Ogun, Rivers, Ondo, Kaduna, and Nasarawa are States that recorded less than ten cases of coronavirus in the last 24hrs.

The announcement also shows that total number of COVID-19 infections in Nigeria has jumped to 41,804 confirmed cases. Out of these cases, 18,764 patients have discharged, while 868 deaths have been recorded.
