BREAKING; 648 new COVID-19 cases recorded in 21 States in Nigeria

Six hundred and forty eight (648) new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in Nigeria.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control disclosed this in its daily COVID-19 update Monday evening via its official Twitter handle.

According to the tweet, Lagos State has 180 new cases, while Plateau State and FCT have 148 and 44 confirmed cases of COVID-19 recorded respectively

Kano, Benue, Delta, Abia, Niger, Gombe, Borno, Bauchi, and Imo are States with less than 10 new cases of coronavirus in the country.

A closer look at the release shows that total number of coronavirus in Nigeria has risen to 41,180 confirmed infections. Out of these cases, 18,203 have been treated and discharged while 860 deaths have been recorded.
