BREAKING: COVID-19 rates going down as 304 new cases recorded in Nigeria

Three hundred and four (304) new cases of coronavirus infections have been recorded in Nigeria. This shows a steady reduction in new infections in the past fee days in the country.

The development was disclosed by the Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC) in its daily COVID-19 update via its official Twitter handle Sunday evening.

Lagos returns to the summit with 81 new COVID-19 infections, followed by FCT with 39 new cases, and Abia with 31 new infections in that order.

While Benue and Nasarawa States have 10 new infections each, Ogun and Gombe States have 6, and 5, new cases in the last 24hrs respectively.

A closer analysis of the report from the NCDC shows that total new coronavirus cases in Nigeria is now 43,841. Out of these cases, 20,308 patients have been treated and discharged from Isolation Centres accros Nigeria, while 888 deaths have been recorded.
