BREAKING; New state-of-the-art Police Station commissioned

Lagos State Police Command has restated its commitment to providing robust security and a conducive environment for socio-economic activities to strive in the State.

The State Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu, gave the assurance on Friday while commissioning a state-of-the-art Police Station built by the Management of the Lagos Free Zone (LFZ).

Odumosu, in a statement signed by the Command spokesperson, CSP Adekunle Ajisebutu (ANIPR), said the facility would bring policing closer to the people of Akodo, Oke Yeta, Magbon Segun, Oke Segun, Itoki, Idotun, Alasia, Okuraye villages, and environs.

He appreciated the Inspector-General of Police, Alkali Baba Usman, psc (+), NPM, fdc, for approving the construction of the station.

The police boss reassured residents of the State that the Command would continue to leverage the existing collaboration between the police and the public to provide adequate security.

The CP, thereafter, paid a courtesy visit to the Onise of Iseland, Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, and also visited the Marine Police Post as well as the recently commissioned Ise Police Station to inspect the facilities and carry out a security assessment of the area.
