BREAKING: Russian Forces declare ceasefire in war with Ukraine
10 days after declaring war with Ukraine, Russia has ordered a ceasefire to allow safe passage for the civilian population.
This was reported by Sputnik, a Russian state media outlet. Russia gave a statement to the United Nations Security Council that they are ready with buses to evacuate the Indian students and other foreign nationals who are stuck in Kharkiv and Sumy amid the attack.
The Defence Ministry of Russia said “Today, at 10 AM on 5th March Moscow time, Russia declares a ceasefire and opens humanitarian corridors for the exit of civilians from Mariupol and Volnovakha”.
