The Kaduna State Police Command on Saturday night, confirmed the death of three persons, a couple and another woman. One of the deceased, Sgt. Christopher Madaki (Rtd), was a scribe of a Ward at Golkofa, Jema’a LGA of Kaduna State.
CRIMECHANNELS gathered that the Police also reported that the Scribe’s wife and his daughter in-law (son’s wife) was also killed by the unknown assailant who invaded their place of residence in Kaduna.
According to a statement by the Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, the assailant inflicted some deep cuts on the deceased son’s body before he fled the crime scene.
The deceased wife whose identity was given as Mary Christopher Madaki and the son’s wife, Alice Musa, who was also killed have been deposited in a mortuary.
Also, in the statement by Samuel Aruwan, it was learnt that a breakdown of law and order was averted in Kachia town, headquarters of Kachia LGA, following the killing of one Hamidu Nura by one Abba Muhammad.
The Commissioner although explained that the Police is investigating the matter that led to the suspect, Abba to stab Hamidu multiple times.
He further said that some irate youth in the area, mobilized themselves, and got hold of the killer, Abba, he said the youths attacked Abba with sharp weapons, killing him in the process.
After the incident had happened, security agents were deployed to the area to bring the situation under control.
Meanwhile, the Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El Rufai has reacted to the death of the Scribe, his wife and daughter in-law. He condemned the killing of the three persons and ordered security agencies in the state to trail the assailant and bring him to justice.
