Popular Yoruba rights activist, Sunday Adeyemo also known as Sunday Igboho, on Saturday, May 15, joined other Yoruba Nation agitators in a protest at the Nelson Mandela Freedom Park in Osogbo, Osun State capital, to demand Yoruba Nation.
According to reports, Sunday arrived the venue of the protest at about 1:45pm on Saturday.
CRIMECHANNELS gathered that the venue of the rally was heavy with the presence of operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) Nigeria Police Force, Joint task Force (JTF) Amotekun corps and Civil Defence Corps.
It was gathered that Sunday who spoke at the venue reportedly declared that there won’t be any election in Yorubland come 2023, the year of elections in Nigeria.
He also urged all aggrieved Yorubas to come together as one, adding that when they are together, only then can they move mountains.
“Chief Gboyega Oyetola, the Osun State Governor, allowed us to hold the rally in Osun and provided them with security, ” he added.
