BREAKING:’Buildings will go down’ – Ex Governor Wike threatens as he assumes office as FCT Minister
Hours after he was sworn-in as the minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) by President Bola Tinubu, former Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike, says he will pull down all illegal structures within the Nigeria’s seat of power.
The newly appointed minister made the vow while addressing newsmen on Monday upon his assumption of office.
He said his administration would also restore the city’s master plan, stressing that all land allottees who have been given Certificates of Occupancy but failed to develop would also lose their lands to give way to those ready to build.
“If you know you have built where you are not supposed to build, it will go down”, he said.
