How Nnamdi Kanu was arrested by Federal government

The Federal Government has disclosed how the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu was apprehended on Tuesday.

In a statement by the Minister of Justice, and the Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, Kanu was arrested by a collaborative efforts of Nigerian intelligence and security services.

Malami stated that Kanu was brought back to Nigeria to continue his trial after disappearing while on bail regarding an 11-count charge levelled against him.

He said that Kanu was intercepted and arrested on Sunday, June 27, 2021.

The AGF said that Kanu was responsible for instigating the violence which erupted in the country, leading to the loss of several lives of Police officers and several more individuals.
