Police Minister Mohammed Dingyadi is leading Nigeria’s delegation in attending the 89th Interpol General Assembly in Istanbul, Turkey.
The top leaders in attendance includes Police Minister, Mohammed Dingyadi, Inspector General of Police, Usman Baba and Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Chairman, Abdulrasheed Bawa
Others on the team include Assistant Inspector General (AIG) Interpol, Garba Umar, and the representative of Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS).
The November 23 – 25 gathering is addressing global security issues. In attendance also are Police Chiefs and senior government officials
On Tuesday, the agenda of the programme and membership of the Federated States of Micronesia were adopted.
Bawa attended a bilateral meeting between Nigeria and Turkey, where law enforcement related issues were discussed.
The Turkish government was represented by its Minister of Interior, Suleyman Soylu.
