JUST IN; 404 new COVID-19 cases recorded in 20 States across Nigeria

Four hundred and four (404) new cases of confirmed coronavirus have been recorded in Nigeria.

The announcement was made public by the Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC) in a daily COVID-19 update via its official Twitter handle Wednesday evening.

The Centre disclosed that Lagos State recorded 106 new coronavirus cases, followed by FCT with 54 new cases, while Rivers State also recorded 48 new infections.

Ebonyi, Ekiti, Kaduna, Cross Rivers, Kwara, Anambra, Delta, Imo, Nasarawa, and Borno are States with less than ten coronavirus cases in the last 24hrs.

According to the Centre, total new cases of COVID-19 infections in Nigeria is now
42,208. Out of these cases, 19,004 patients have been treated and discharged, while sadly, 873 deaths have been recorded.
