JUST IN; Senator Nndume reveals what Tinubu told him about Akpabio
As the race for the next Senate President heats up, Borno South Senator, Ali Ndume has disclosed President Bola Tinubu’s preferred choice.
Ndume disclosed that Senator Godswill Akpabio, who is the All Progressives Congress, APC, consensus candidate, is Tinubu’s preferred candidate for the Senate Presidency.
Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today, the lawmaker said Tinubu personally told him about Akpabio as his choiced candidate for the seat.
According to Ndume: “The President told me that his preferred candidate is Akpabio and I should lead the campaign.”
He said Tinubu expressed his confidence in the capabilities of Akpabio and that he won’t change his mind on his position as his preferred candidate for the seat.
