Madagascar records first ever COVID-19 death

One person has reportedly died of complications arising from coronavirus infections in Madagascar.

This is the first time since the outbreak of the virus in the country over two months ago.

Recall Madagascar has 304 confirmed cases of coronavirus and has never recovered and death prior to the latest development.

Madagascar recently hugged headlines news around the world when its President Andry Rajoelina claimed his country had developed a herbal remedy that can cure people infected with the coronavirus.

Although World Health Organization (WHO) had doubted the claim, several African Countries have ordered or expressed interest in the purported remedy, which is known as Covid-Organics.
