No election will hold in 2023; Oduduwa Republic must happen – Sunday Igboho declares

Popular Activist and Yoruba nation agitator, Sunday Igboho, on Wednesday, said that elections would not hold in the South-West come 2023.

According to Sunday, the reason for that was because the Yorubas would break out of Nigeria.

CRIMECHANNELS learnt that Sunday said this in a video that has now gone viral on the internet.

He said, “Marriage is not by force. We can’t live with you again. The Yoruba nation is a vehicle of salvation and I want all Yoruba to board the vehicle and have their seats.”

He also vowed that there was no going back on the agitation struggle.

“How can we go back when we are almost at our destination? Those who have not joined us should do so now because there’s no election come 2023. Yoruba will go,” he said.

Igboho has been in the headlines lately, it could be recalled that sometime last month, the Yoruba Activist staged a rally in Osogbo, Osun State. It was learnt that despite the presence of security forces at the venue, thousands of people still showed up.

He has been clamouring for a new country (Oduduwa Republic) for the Yoruba people. The cry for a new country came about after suspected bandits and Fulani herdsmen have been troubling the region in the form of various attacks.
