Tinubu, Atiku, Obi, others sign Peace Accord

Three days to the 2023 General elections, the All Progressives Congress Presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other contestants have signed a peace accord.

Leading candidates in attendance include Bola Tinubu (All Progressives Congress, APC), Peter Obi (Labour Party, LP), Omoyele Sowore (African Action Congress, AAC), Atiku Abubakar (Peoples Democratic Party, PDP) and Rabiu Kwankwaso (New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP). also signed in a ceremony witnessed by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Former South African President, Thabo Mbeki; former Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta and Malawi’s former President, Joyce Hilda Banda also witnessed the ceremony.

Others were Commonwealth Secretary-General Patricia Scotland and European Union, Head of Delegations, Ms. Samuela Isopi.
