Seven [7] persons reportedly killed as gunmen attack communities
No fewer than seven persons have been killed across two communities in Benue State by gunmen suspected to be herders.
The gunmen reportedly killed the persons on Tuesday when they simultaneously invaded and attacked the communities in Gwer West Local Government Area of the state.
A livestock guard was among the victims, while property and foodstuff were razed.
The Nation reported that sources said the residents noticed strange movements in their area and raised the alarm, but were trapped during which seven of them were killed.
