Several people dead, Police Station destroyed in Boko Haram attack


About 35 people have reportedly been killed by Boko Haram terrorists during a recent attack of the insurgent group on two local government areas of Borno State.

The attack, which reportedly occured in Usmanati Goni, Nganzai LGA at about 10am, claimed the life of many people, as the terrorists didn’t spare women and children during the onslaught.

The terrorists group did not only kill people in the community, they also razed down buildings, which rendered so many people homeless.

The source added that the terrorists, after having unleash terror on Usmanati Goni community, they also invaded Monguno town, headquarter of Monguno local government area of the state at around 11:30am.

Aside attacking the communities, the terrorists stormed the local police station in the town, freeing inmates in the process and burnt down the station and cars.


It would be recalled that the insurgent recently invaded Gubio LGA where 81 civilians were killed and some others, abducted.
