Women questioning mens authority in family are demonic – Bishop Oyedepo’s Wife

Faith Oyedepo, the wife of the Senior Pastor and founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide aka Winners’ Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo, has said that women who question the position of men in the family are under a demonic influence.

CRIMECHANNELS learnt that Mrs. Faith said this on her official Facebook page on Friday, Aug. 13, 2021.

It was gathered that she was backing her husband after a feminist group blasted her husband for saying feminism leads to frustration and devastation.

Her husband, some days ago, during one of his sermon, had said that a woman may not have a good home, if she joins a feminist club.

According to the clergyman, when the Bible says “women, submit yourself to your husband in everything,” women respond saying, “No, not today, that was before. Right now, nobody can do that. We are co-heirs, male and female, no difference.”

He said when they are told that “this is the way to go,” they respond saying, “No, let me educate you, God. You didn’t go to school, did you?”

Oyedepo pointed that in today’s world, such women think they are too smart for God to lead them.

“Right now, there is a feminine revolution. Then you get into feminine frustration and destiny devastation, “he added.

The comments made by Bishop Oyedapo , CRIMECHANNELS learnt did not sit well with a feminist group called the Nigeria Feminist Forum, as some of its members critiized the Pastor for his comment.

Reacting to the comment, the group said, “We need to ask the eminent cleric, did feminists and the coalition cause the unproductivity of his pastors, or the insecurity and high inflation that has enveloped the nation?”

However, Mrs. Faith in her post, backed her husband by saying that women should be in subjection to their husbands in everything.

She wrote, “Any woman or women’s organization that attempts to question the position of the man in the family should be regarded as being under a demonic influence.”

“God expects that just as the Church is subject to Christ in everything, even so, women should be in subjection to their husbands in everything.”
