A former Senator of the Federal Republic, Shehu Sani, on Saturday, threw a slight jab at the Federal Government when he tweeted that protesters are now blocking the roads after the government on numerous occasions have blocked the future of its youth.
As the protesters continue to demand for an end to police brutality and ask for good governance, several major roads across the states have been blocked due to massive crowds, causing heavy traffic on several roads.
CRIMECHANNELS learnt that on Friday, the protesters blocked the road leading to the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, Lekki-Ikoyi toll gate and third mainland bridge in Lagos, among others.
This scenario caused the Senator to take to twitter where he took a jab at the Federal Government, in his tweet, he said, “You blocked their future, they are now blocking your roads. #ENDBADGOVERNANCE #EndSARS.”
It was also learnt that an unidentified Minister missed his flight to Lagos because of heavy traffic along Lugbe road in Abuja.
