You’re being disruptive now INEC Chairman tells protesting Dino Melaye at collation centre

The collation agent of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dino Melaye, has protested the process of collation and result announcement.

The former lawmaker is challenging all the results presented by the various State Collation Officers.

He wants the results presented at the polling units displayed on the INEC website for comparison with the ones presented by the state’s collation officers.

INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, who tried to calm him down said, “Dino, you are now deliberately being obstructive.”

PDP agents walk out of colla

Agents of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Senator Dino Melaye and Emeka Ihedioha have walked out of the collation centre in Abuja.

Melaye and Ihedioha as well as some party agents alleged manipulation of some figures, calling on the National Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) Prof Mahood Yakubu to review them.

They also insisted the figures from the different States should be uploaded on the server of the commission.

But Yakubu said there would be no review until the process was completed, a development that made Melaye and Ihedioha to walk out of the centre.

The exercise resumed immediately
